Flavorful Asian Salmon Burgers: A Delicious Twist

Begin by setting up a colander over a bowl. Place the salmon in the colander, gently separating the fish to allow for proper draining. Let it sit for approximately 10 minutes to ensure it drains well. Once drained, discard the excess liquid and transfer the salmon to a spacious bowl.

Next, incorporate the bell pepper and onion into the salmon mixture. To this, add the bread crumbs, eggs, soy sauce, Sriracha, ginger, a teaspoon of sesame oil, mustard powder, and garlic powder. Thoroughly mix all the ingredients until well combined. Shape the mixture into 5 patties and lay them out on a cookie sheet. Cover the patties with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least an hour, or overnight for enhanced flavors to meld.

When ready to cook, heat vegetable oil with a teaspoon of sesame oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Carefully transfer the patties into the skillet, then reduce the heat to medium.
