    Step 1: Mix Sugars & Butter 🧈🍯

    Put ½ cup brown sugar, ½ cup white sugar, and ½ cup melted butter in a big bowl.

    It should look creamy and smell sweet.


    Step 2: Add the Egg 🥚

    Crack 1 egg into the same bowl.
    Make sure the egg is at room temperature (not cold).

    Step 3: Add the Dry Stuff 🌾

    Now add 1½ cups flour, ½ tsp baking powder, and ¼ tsp salt.
